1978 Suspension Specs

I just aquired a 1978 L82 4spd original car and would like to rebuild the suspension the problem is that I would like to go for more performance and some of the kits I see seem to have the same items that are already originally on the car i.e. 1" sway bar in front. How do I get hold of the specs on sway bar width, spring weights etc. :confused:

If you have a sway bar in front, but no sway bar in back, you are running standard suspension.

300 lb front spring, ~180 lb rear spring.

1978 Gymkhana rear bar is .440" diameter, front is 1.12" Dia. Standard suspension has no rear bar and front is .875".
