Although F70-15 corresponds to 215/70-15, a modern 215/70-15 radial tire doesn't fit on a 8" wide rim the same as a bias ply tire. I just tried to have a set of 215/70-15 Yokohamas put on my 72 stock rims. I had to go up to a 225/70-15 because the 215s were too narrow for the 15x8 rims.
