I drove the Vette today in support of this great country we live in. There is no other country in the world where common folks like me can drive around a great relic of history like the Vette; America's sports car! I feel great knowing this is the best place to live. I'll never forget 9/11, and the feelings from that day; but I am damn proud of my country today. Hope some more of you drove the Vettes today, and realized how much the car symbolizes our great country!
Thanks to all the men and women who make it that way!!! :flag
Well said.
I am an Army brat who spent some time as a child living in Germany and I remember how it was.
We often take for granted the freedoms and opportunities we have in this country.
In some countries you do not have the choice to have what you want even if you can afford it. The government and others dictate how you will live.
We have a lot to be thankful for today and everyday and also owe gratitude to the people in the Armed Forces who do what they do every day to keep our freedoms for all the rest of us.
I was hoping to see a fair amount of Harley's today. Maybe tonight, as people relax from a long day of reflection, some will pull out the Vette's and Harley's ( or other American type toys) and drive around and see the wonderful country and the huge amount of flags that are out for support. I've got my flag flying!!! :flag
