Coolant leak
72 coupe with 350 and automatic trans. Two days ago it developed a coolant leak at the rear of the engine and at the passenger side motor mount. Everything is dry around the intake and heater hoses. Steady drip at the inspection cover where the engine and transmission meet. Slow drip at the motor mount.The funny thing is that while the engine is running the leaks are not as evident. Is this indicative of rotten freeze plugs?

I changed the one behind the starter on my 77 a while ago. Not really a bad job at all and the new brass core plug cost less than a dollar. Be sure you have a fairly large container to catch the coolant.
