Default converting from the Crossfire Injection

If I do, I will retain the crank and rods, after making sure they are solid, replace the pistons with 9-9.5 compression forged, replace timing gear, oil pump, water pump, intake, cam and heads. the question is which way to go, fuel injection or carb, do I retain the '82 computer?

Dude, you're gonna replace the ONLY thing that is good in the L83 engine. The pistons in there are the forged flat top L82 TRW 464664 pistons, still sold by GMPP. If you replace ANYTHING, replace the crank & rods (since you're already doing heads, cam & stuff)

Wich way to go? How about a Smokey ram w, 2"(or larger) TB's, it'll still look like a crossfire but it'll run like a r^%$# ape
