Default 625 CFM Road Demon - too small?

Will a 625 CFM Road Demon work well for my application?? Or do I need to go bigger?

355 CI, 9.75 Compression
Comp Cam 270 Magnum (224 deg. int/exh), Roller Rockers
Trick Flow 64 cc heads, Edelbrock Performer Intake
Dynomax headers - dual exhaust
4-speed with 3.36 gears
A/C coming soon!

Thanks for the advice (as always)!!!

i always use the holley 6210 650cfm DP.
as far as i know it is the only low price 650 DP calibrated for street use.
it is a spread bore.
the choke could be milled off for an extra 25 cfm if needed.
Plus they can be picked up at swap meets for 15-45, add a $45 kit and you are set.
new about 329-379.
Demons are real popular due to the catchy name, advertising, and it is a good carb,
Holley gave up advertising the 6210 years ago i think because it is so hard to educate customers. They at least stand to profit, i don't so i will now let others convince you to buy something else

I'm using a 4150 600 dp vintage 1965 and it works perfectly, crisp throttle response, plenty top end and holds a tune. I looked at the speed demon but can't imagine it working any better than this Holley

QuickVet, it's a 0-4776 and one of the originals. You can see by the secondary acuator linkage it's an antique

I think it's too small, I know some 600 carb can be set to run over 400 hp but it seems like this carb is for smaller hp cars like around 350 and under.

Hopefully someone here will know the hp ratings for this carb. I'm guessing by your signature that you car is over 350 hp.

Yeah, probably around 380 hp. Will probably go with the Demon 650 DP. Does anyone know if I need special fuel fittings (log, ...etc) to make this work??

That sounds like a good choice however I would go with vac. model. I know a lot of guys have good luck with the mec. sec. but I never have, in my opinion they are a little harder to tune.
