Gentlemen, after researching the subject with our forum member's posts, I've made the decision to add Van Steel offset training arms and shortened spring to my rescued 80' C3. It was gutted, raced and crashed but it won't die on my watch.
Can anyone recommend a decent shop that can do the work ? I'm in Gloucester but will travel to find an honest and skilled mechanic/crew to do this mod. This car is too far gone to ever be a decent numbers matching collectible classic. It's "The Living Dead Vette" now with stroked , supercharged motor and it stands out .
Thank you for offering your assistance through the years . I can always count on our forum members to come through for me.

Robert... I don't know of anyone for you but here is a bump.. surely someone on the east coast has some suggestions and being so close to Boston I'm sure there is someone out there for you. I saw Gloucester in your post and wow, I was just there and went to the St Peters Festival too... We go every year.

Supposed to be a good corvette guy in Acton MA. I havent talked with him or seen his work. Just had him mentioned to me as an alternative to my own labor.
Just a thought but why not give Vansteel a call? They might know a shop in your area that has been one of their regular customers. They have been in business for a number of years selling and shipping all over the US.
I agree with doing it yourself. By the sounds of your original post the car probably needs more than just this project. If Your going to farm this and every other thing out to be done by a shop then this is going to end up a very expensive car many more times than somebody is willing to pay for it. I wouldn't be to intimidated by diving into it. Sears sells ever tool needed. A shop manual and people here to steer the way. It sounds as though You are looking forward to the gratification of saving the car on your watch think of how much more gratification You will have having done it yourself.
