Default Modular Ford powered C3

Read an article about the swap, having trouble finding more information.



Buying a wrecked mustang.


It's all there 6 speed manual/ 5.0 coyote. My corvette now is a 4 speed Muncie, Any info swapping modular fords into the C3 would be appreciated.

I would look at the measurments of that motor.it is very wide.you will have lots of hurdels putting that motor in.

Super wide is more like it. I don't know how it would fit if you have power brakes!

Not a Ford expert-

But about 3" wider than a LS- and it's a rear sump. I'm thinking it won't be that tough.



This is a 78 w/ a blower- 2013 SEMA car...

Motor looks to sit pretty far forward
One heck of a project bring patience...and $$ to the table.

think youd be better off selling the pieces and dropping something else in there
That nose on the SEMA car looks better than the C5 6 or 7.

If you are looking for a challenge ,,,,that will be it .The Ls motor is the motor for engine swaps.In chevys and in fords.Will be a tough resale.

My V12 is actually a 60º block- not wide at all...about the same length as a big block. The pain was the front sump.
