They are coming to NH in November. I've never seen them, but I've

Dave, Are you only going to butt weld the post or are you also using sleeves? Based on what I have learned being in and around the Body Shop business for 30+ years I would use sleeves under the joints. You could drill a few 5/16" holes and spot weld the sleeves to the lower section and then slide on the upper section and spot weld the sleeve to that. Then you can weld the butt joint. This would make the joint much stronger in case of a collision or rollover. Looks like you have done a great job fitting it together. Good Luck, Craig
