what water pump?
im ready to put my engine back in after rebuild and wanted to install new water pump. all the local parts houses replacements have the raised boss or 5/8 shaft. the a/c front bracket mounts to this. has anyone run into this? i need standard boss (not raised) with 3/4 shaft.

This may help go to rockauto site and look up you're water pump look at the picture and if it's the right one use that # to order one.All the auto parts stores can cross reference from one manufacturer to another.

thanks sparky77. i tried looking them up at RA and looking at pics at auto stores. theres a 1/4 inch height difference in the bolt boss, which may be hard to see in the pictures. the more i check into it, seems that 71 &72 had different casting numbers than the others.ill keep searching thanks

jebby ,i ordered the Cp984 from Oreillys, it came in today and is different from mine also. i'm still unable to figure out what wp i have. i'll probably send this one out to be rebuilt. thanks for the help though
