Horn button spring sleeve broken?
I had to take apart my 70 tilt column to have the ignition cylinder rebuilt.
Everything is fine up to installing the horn spring and black sleeve to the hub for the horn. Normally you push and twist the black sleeve, with the pin, on to the white sleeve in the hub on top of the spring. There is no notch in the white sleeve. When I took it apart and there was evidence of some type of adhesive.
Can you purchase just the notched white sleeve in the hub?
I know a standard column has the notched sleeve as part of the cancel cam and it comes through the hub.
Ideas?
Thanks, Bill

However, there is a new reproduction cam that I don't have in stock yet, it will be here in about four days and it's way cheaper.

This cam has the white cylinder in it for the upper contact.

You have to order the spring, retainer and aluminum contact separately. Sorry
