Need HELP with an alternator bracket issue
I am looking to replace my tired '73 heads with a set of refurbished 1.94/1.50 camel hump heads. They came off a '66 327ci. The problem is, there are no accessory holes on the heads so I'm having trouble figuring out how I'm going to mount my alternator. Any thoughts??? Thank you!

your choice, either drill and tap the holes you need, or get all early mounting brackets for everything. or go with full custom mounting, you only need 1 or 2 holes in the front of the heads.
I would drill and tap the holes. good luck.

you'll need to change the exhaust manifolds, the older ones had the alternator mounted on the manifold, not the head. different brackets, etc. it was a holdover from the generator days...or as suggested, drill and tap the heads.

These would work. You can get the "F-bracket that actually holds the alternator and the J-bar to position the alternator from Summit Racing. Be sure that you get an "F-bracket" with a forward "tensioner" that pushes the alternator forward as you tighten the bolt. The Header Power Brackets take the Spectre (or similar) left hand F-bracket for either the left or right side mount.
