Default "winkie"

shut the car down without turning off the lights. turned off the lights and the left promptly closed, the right stayed up. I know VERY LITTLE about vacuum systems. should I leave well enough alone, since they work when the engine is on? if I tinker, where to start? what to look for?

I'd guess a vac leak in the headlight can. If works when eng on I would leave alone and just lower before shutting motor off. It can get expensive tracking down vac problems. It really is a personal call IMHO

I would check the relays..
I know my relays are bad, because when i start the engine the right light pops up without the lights on,but as the vac is building up it pops down again.. :smash:

there is a can for each, right? I think that might be the problem. it's something to do when it either breaks or I have nothing better to fix
