You should easily be able to tell if you have a Renegade on your motor or not. It says RENEGADE across the top plate in big letters. Pull your air cleaner and have a look.
If you are a purist, then remove it if installed. Otherwise you should be good to go.

Yes...I have a friend with the # 6th Renegade ever made.. It will allow the engine to breath.. Maker claims 20-30 HP improvement.. no issues.....Works better with better cam and heads

This is a true statement, the average is 30 RWHP, but we have seen more as well. Good luck and do a before and after if you can. That is the only way to see what you really got from the swap. 383 and bigger cube motors really love the manifold.
