Whats wrong with poly? Just because a few guys have had problems for whatever reasons shouldn't sway you. I have them everywhere and don't see any real differences vice rubber.

I don't hear mine squeaking but I have loud sidepipes. I did lube the bushings pretty good though. Anyway, if if it's just the tranny mount, I doubt that will squeak because it just sits there and essentially has no movement. I used the one from Energy Suspension as well as the motor mounts. Engine barely moves also.

I converted the entire suspension to poly and later switched back to a rubber transmission mount. I felt a small 'seat of the pants' increase in vibration which my local corvette shop suggested could be caused by the stiffer poly transmission mount. It seemed be be better after the rubber mount was installed. Other than that, the poly has been great. I can't imagine that any brand could be much 'better' than another. It's just a block of poly/rubber.
