Bought a new distributor, MSD pro billet for my BB.
Thing is, my rev counter does not work, is there another size of wire to match the dist?
What year?
By the looks of your avatar you have an early C3. I don't know about BB's but early C3's with SB's the tach is driven off the distributor via a speedometer type cable. It is purely mechanical not electrical. MSD does make a tach drive distributor because I'm running one.
Also, if you do have an MSD tach drive distributor it should have come with a little brass insert to drive the cable. If that is not installed your tach will not work.

Mine is a 72 with tach drive, i dont have an insert so that is probably wy it does not work. Stock wire now, will get an insert. Thanks!
The insert should have come with the distributor. And that is not a wire it's a drive cable. Be careful not to pull it out as it will disengage on the other side in the tach (rev counter) and it's a pain in the *** to get it back it.
It should look like this:
