Default Performance planning! Advice needed (ZZ4 with mods)

OK....I'm trying to plan for next spring already. I figure I can have the frame, suspension, and brakes, ready for next spring. I will be adding 3:70 gears and a 5 speed transmission to give me some highway manners. I plan on going with a ZZ4 but I some more power out of it. I was looking at Sallee Chevrolet's site and they offer lots of performance upgrades. Any advice on the best mod for the dollar. I was just going to go with 1.5 roller rockers and some head work and an Air gap intake, but now I'm thinking of going for just the cam to get that exhaust note:)......Any advice on where my money is best spent to get me a little closer to a streetable setup that can get me into the high 12s? Here are the options below.....

Option 1 (385 HP): A very popular combination that's perfect for street. It puts out 385 HP/410lbs of torque. The power gain comes from custom ported ZZ4 cylinder heads and match ported intake manifold.
Requires 750-CFM carb and headers__________P/N SCZZ4-1

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 2 (395 HP): Option 1 included, plus an Edelbrock RPM intake manifold. If you have hood clearance, this is an easy 10 horse power increase to 395HP/416.bs torque.

#7104 with RPM Q-Jet_____________________P/N SCZZ4-2Q

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 3 (400 HP): Includes options 1 & 2. Plus the installation of roller rockers with a ratio of 1.5. Power increases come from less rotation torque, more precise valve lift, and less valve train wear. Oil temperature will also decrease. We reach the 400HP mark with 420lbs of torque, with this option.

Crower stainless steel roller rockers___________P/N SCZZ4-3C

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 4 (420 HP): Includes options 1,2 & 3. This option requires a cam change. We install the new LT-4 H.O.T. cam with 1.6 roller rockers. This brings the horse power to 420HP/427lbs of torque.

Cam part number - 24502586
Duration - I: 218° E: 228° @ .050" Tappet Lift
Lift - I: 525 E: 525 with 1.6 rocker

P/N SCZZ4-4

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 5 (440 HP): Includes 1, 2, 3, & 4 above. This is our most powerfull H/O engine which requires a single plane intake manifold (Edlebrock Part #2975 Victor Jr.) also an increase in valve size with manley stainless steel 2.000" intake and 1.560" exhaust. The engine was struggling for more air flow and that's what we gave it, creating 440HP/437lbs of torque.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 6 (395 HP): SUPER H.O.T. ZZ-4
H.O.T. Roller Camshaft, 1.6:1 Roller Rockers, 395 HP.
This option is for someone wanting just a little more power than the stock ZZ-4. Consult with a GMPP sales person for more information.

I would go with option 4 or 5. I've heard only great things about the GM HOT cam setups.

TTT, I guess my question is whether to go with cam and 1.6 rockers or go with mild head work and rpm intake/gasket matching....I figure both would give me close to 400hp. Which is more worthwhile?
