Good source for freon R12
For those still using R12 I have had fast service from this company: http://www.refrigerantsales.com/
They currently sell a case of 12, 12oz cans for $340.
Works out to $28 per can. Cost for two cases drops to
$325 each. Also available per can for a bit more.
There is free shipping.
The only store in my area that still has some inventory is
Parts Advance and they get $35 plus tax.
You maybe able to find it for less if you want to
bid for it on e-bay and take your chances with an unknown
seller.
You will need a certificate to purchase it but that can be obtained
by taking an on line test (see my earlier post from yesturday).
