c3 engine lift

I bought a harbor freight 1 ton to pull my engine and it won't reach from the driver side. Does anyone know if it will reach from the passenger side? I can't check at the moment because my car is parked on the right side of the garage and I don't have the space.

I hope this helps someone who is on a budget and needs a lift to pull their engine.
Harbor freight sells several lifts of veering tonnage. I was in the market for the 1 ton because I came across a coupon that brought the price down to $99.00. Unfortunately, I discovered that the 1 ton version doesn't have enough reach to pull a C3 engine. The maximum reach of the 1 ton is about 46". If was close but no nowhere near what I needed for a successful pull. Luckily, the guys at Harbor Freight allowed me to returned my already built lift. I bought the 2 ton model ($179.00) which has a reach of approximately 61-65", this allowed for plenty of room to remove the engine. I pulled my engine from the side like others have recommended.
Again, I hope this helps someone who is in the market for an affordable engine lift.
