700r4 cross member
I'm new to the forum. Thanks for having me. I've looked extensively through the forum for an answer to my question/issue with no luck and hope someone can help me. I just purchased a '79 with a recently installed 700R4. The parking brake does not work. The seller told me a bracket needs to be added/welded to the stock cross member for the brake cable, but suggested I purchase an after-market cross member instead. Any advise would be appreciated regarding options and/or source(s) for a replacement cross member. Thanks in advance for your response.
