nunus79, Question ; for an engine with stock exhaust & no headers, with good intake, such as my 427 with Endlebrock alum heads & stock side exhaust & no headers, would a cam such as Crane PowerMax 272, intake 216/Ex 228 be a good high tourque option ? the DOG  ALOHA :seeya
The Dog,
I would imagine your 427 has ample compression to support many different cam grinds. So, bleeding off some cylinder pressure down low to help some upper end breathing may be a good thing in your case. I just don't know enough about big blocks and their breathing characteristics to even begin to say if a particular grind will be good or bad. There are or have been some on this forum that have had extensive experience with camming. I do not pretend to be one of them. Hopefully, one of them will chime in to answer your question. Good Luck!
9.5 to one , 110 cc chambers, TRW 2300 F pistons,Endlebrock Alum heads............the Crane 272 power max is my choice as of the moment or XE262.....want big tourque...my 66 is a street driver with 308 rear gears............... :seeya
