That had to hurt, Bob. Real shame--I'd be real wary of taking that on as a project--got to be major frame damage--looks like the top no longer fits right. And that engine took a serious bash (look at the passenger valve cover!).

Now see, this is the kind of car I go for. When I got mine, I paid $5500.- for it and the only thing it DIDN'T need was an engine! However, it was a complete BB 4spd vert with A/C, and it is now almost done and a hoot to drive. I can't afford a 20K plus restored one, so here's an opportunity to get another. Clip it and do a frame off and you got a nice driver or better...
I'm going to a conference in Portland next Wednesday, so I'll drive down and take a close look at it and find out what it'll take to drag it home. Heck, with an Automatic, I could do a drag racer...
As a mechanic, I have no illusions about the amount of work this would be, but it's still a chrome bumper BB vert w/A/C...
