Hot air is getting into the interior...(under pressure) from the air ducts. I've disconnected the heater fan under the hood. Is there another fan somewhere delivering air into the car? I can divert it to the vents and defroster to get it off my feet... but, where is this coming from? :( And how do I turn it off?

infamous c3 hot foot  take your glove box lining out and make sure the heater door is closed all the way, it may need to be adjusted. i stll have that problem but dont mind as the winter is coming.

KENS78SILVERANNIV - a short term "fix" until you get to taking your passenger side dash out is to disconnect the heater hoses - no hot water to the heater core should mean no heated air to your vents. Of course on those 100+ degree days ( like we get here in Texas) any air coming in is still going to be less than cool.

good luck

I've already installed a valve to shut off the hot water to the heater core... but hot air is still being "pushed" somehow in through the ducts. I will have to check the heater door to make sure it is shut. Don't need any hot air on these 95 degree California days!

As the engine compartment gets hot and all the surrounding firewall and what not does too. I think its normal for air to be pushed thru from pressure when the car is in motion. Pressure built up in the cowl area will force the air thru. If you can block the intake for the entire duct system then maybe you can reduce some of the heat getting in.
