68 Windsheild wipers shorting out
When I turn on the wipers there's power on the wiper arm! I was out for a drive started raining get out to pump gas I noticed when the wipers were sweeping the blade would come into contact with the windshield molding and it arcs! Any ideas? Tested with volt meter there's 12 volts on the wiper arm

The 68 system is backwards from the other years. Always has 12 volts looking for ground. Im sure wilcox will have your answer. I would look at the wiring around the motor to see if anything is bare, broken or disconnected. You could do wilcox bench test to see if anything turns up as well.
