Default Aftermarket Pedals?

Anyone out there running some aftermarket pedals on the C3? I tried searching, but didn't come up with much. Seems like most of the manufactures mentioned in older threads no longer sell that product. The only ones I can find are $100+. Any budget options that look decent? My stock pedals are pretty torn up and I'd like to put something that looks a bit more modern on.

See post #12 in this thread. Looks promising. Would love to do these in my car!

Looks like that would be easy enough to copy with floor mounted pedals and some alum plate. If I ever switch to a manual that might be the way to go.

I currently have Sparco pedals installed in my 76. You have to drill holes and bolt them onto the existing pedals.

I'm switching to these for better heel-toe shifting.

Metal pedals are nice if you are racing and wearing racing shoes as you get into a nice clean car.
But not really practical on a street car where mud, rain, snow, dirt, etc all have the possibility of being brought into the car.
Just a thought......

So you just removed the stock pedal off of the pedal arm, drilled a hole, and bolted the new pedal to.the stock arm?

I drive mine on the street and its been in rain and snow. Never had an issue with the pedals as they have rubber bumps on them. The new ones are heavily textured and have a lot more grip than rubber pedals.

The Sparco's I had to trim some of the original pedal away because they are a univeral type of pedal. If you can afford it go with the autovation ones. They are sized properly for the existing pedals so all you have to do is drill a few holes and bolt them on. If you go to the website they have several other designs also in addition to the ones I purchased.

The second, plain metal ones look beautiful. Perhaps not in a stock Corvette... but in a modified one... great!
