Please correct / confirm....Have been looking for the correct casting number, motor number etc for 1968 Corvette.
Ive found a few motors and am trying to make certain are correct. My '68 plug takes 3 wires and some motors only Have 1.
Not making show car, just don't want China or incorrect parts...current motor was for a different year and shorted out, burnt wires...fire.
Rewiring car and want to make certain is correct.
68 wiper motor was wired differently from later years so just matching up the 3 wired will normally short it out as I learnt the hard way. Wilcox had a great guide on benchtesting the motor and wiring to get it correct. Think there is a video too.

I would love it if that went away, Its constantly kicking me to a different thread.
My opinion on the wiper motor is to buy the new motor from Willcox and bench test it when you get it. I dont know if Willcox has the time to bench test every one that comes into his shop but I would trust his parts over the other vendors.
I bought a new one from a different vendor (big rookie mistake on my part when I first bought my 68) but the C clip inside wasn't properly installed so it wouldnt park. I had to disassemble to figure it out, then completely reassemble.
