need help calc HP
Used a Gtech to measure my truck's HP. Got 150 rwhp. What does that translate into through transmission loss?

I think from the flywheel to the rear wheels is a lose of 15-20. Is that what you are asking?

Remember i'm talking 15 - 20 percent of horsepower not 15 - 20 horsepower. I forgot that part :D

150*1.17=175.5hp
That's using 17% drivetrain losses.

Using your numbers 175.5*.17=29.8. 175.5-29.8=145.7.
I believe the correct way to calculate this is: 150/.83=180.7. 180.7*.17=30.7. 180.7-30.7=150.
