Default DD 2000 help

I was wondering if somebody that had this program could give me a little help. I am considering two different carb choices and was wondering how either choice would effect the power curve.
motor as it sits
454 +.060 = 468
10.25: 1 compression
comp cams 294 s
Advertised duration: 294 intake/294 exhaust
Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 248 intake/248 exhaust
Gross valve lift: .595 in. intake/.595 in. exhaust
Lobe separation: 110 degrees
1.7 comp cams roller rockers
GM performance products oval port heads
flow looks like at 28 in. of water
valve lift intake exhaust
0.050 37 22
0.100 71 58
0.200 138 119
0.300 193 145
0.400 233 168
0.500 272 189
0.600 300 202
0.700 318 210
weiand dual plane stealth intake
then either a 750 or 850 holley dp mechanical secondary
ignition system is a pro billet dist. and 6al box
also any opinions are welcome on this build up so thanks in advance for any advice that is given, thanks again josh

I just e-mailed you DD2000 runs with all your info.

Thats a pretty hot cam and you need more compression because of the big overlap. Most guys with street strip motors always use 850's on BBC's. 600 hp and 550 TQ is a real animal on the street. but you need nearly 11:1 compression to really make it run in the 3000 or less rpm where your at in normal driving.

6500 rpm hp 4500 rpm TQ

592 548 750 cfm

605 569 850 cfm

DD will almost always show more power with more cfm, whether it makes sense or not. In your case, unless you're running a stock exhaust system and/or tall gears, the 850 (or larger) would be a better choice.
