I painted the heat riser, intake manifold and master cylinder "Spray Gray" and used Satin Black on the booster. The water pump, fan and brackets are done in "Detail Gray" The paints are from Eastwood and have held up very well. The picture you see shows the engine after about 3 years in the car.

If you mean me, no. I was able to get most of it from above and then climbed underneath and got what I could. It's not perfect, but what you can see from above looks pretty good.

Does the carb gold paint dry to a hard surface? I was thinking of that for the headlight vacuum cans. I used POR15 metal mask and that chipped off very easily.

Hard as a rock. I did mine almost 3 years ago and they look the same today.
