Horn relay started buzzing, has any body had this problem?

Horn relay started buzzing, has any body had this problem?
I was working on the vette and accidentally pressed the horn button, when I lifted off it the horn stopped but I could hear a loud buzzing from under the hood. I traced this to the horn relay mounted by the vac reservoir and the only way I could stop it buzzing was by disconnecting the battery. Has anybody had this problem before?
Searching on Google I see that there was a buzzer incorporated in this horn relay for door open or key left in the ignition, I have never heard this buzzer before, perhaps it decided to come to life? I have been connecting/disconnecting the battery a lot today because I'm fitting an active sub woofer in the storage compartment.

Mine came back to life after replacing the ignition switch. If it won't go off it probably stuck. Turn off the car and pull out the key and shut the door. Then tap it with a screwdriver handle. If that doesn't work try unplugging the relay. You may need a new relay

Problem solved buzzer stopped when I removed the key from the ignition. I have had this Vette for over four years now and this is the first time this feature has worked. Not sure why it kicked into life now but I may disconnect it anyway it's just annoying.

If your not into originality I suggest picking one up from rockauto. I got one from them for $36. Look in all the Vette parts books and you'll end up spending twice that. The RA unit I bought fit and works perfectly.
