I would like to install a hydroboost system on my 1971. does anyone have a recommendation on which brand and maybe get it in chrome. should I use my original master cyl or go to willwood?
Just installed one in my 71. It was their "Street Prep" version with the "Machined Aluminum Show Finish" Accumulator. Installed a new Wilwood M/C to go along with it. Very expensive, but was worth it to me. Had some trouble getting factory clevis to reach the brake pedal so brake pedal height could be properly adjusted, so I ended up ordering a longer clevis from McMaster-Carr to resolve that issue. Everything else installed smoothly. Overall, very satisfied with their kit..
