Strange blind Kerr short
I have a strange problem. Before i try and track it down i want to see if anyone has had this happen, its on my 72, 383 5 speed.
When I turn on my right blinker the lights dont blink but the distributor fires on and off. This is with the car not started. What could cause this short. It just started doing this.

what do you mean by "the distributor fires on and off"?
can you provide more details on your ignition system, stock distributor and coil for a 1972 or something different?
if you switched to HEI where are you getting the power feed from to the distributor?
