Default desktop dynos?????

am i correct in assuming that this is a computer program that you can put in your engine components and it will estimate your HP and tourqe etc??

if so does anyone here have it that will estimate my planned engines outcome for me?
OR...is this program one that can be shared?
thanx...

There is a fellow here that ran my engine specs on one of those programes.and it came out to ~420 some odd hp,.....not too bad for a 355 ci engine.....but I think that's optimistic....I guess at 375, so that's what's on the engine plaque anyway...

Hello DollaGreen. I have a metallic green 79 with some engine mods. I am a new member to the forum and I posted my engine information on this forum. So far it has been viewed at least 30 times and no one seems to be able to provide me with the info I've requested in that post. If you wish to view my info the topic is HOW MUCH HP 79 VETTE.

Gary,

For what it's worth, I downloaded a copy from Kazaa Lite (a software/music sharing site) a few months ago. If I remember correctly, there were a few diff. "varieties" of desktop dyno software.

Here is a related post with some 383 combos.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zero...860750#3860750

Here is the graph from the one that is most similar to SIGNGUY's (I think):
383, 9:1, 262 CAM, 660 Carb
