good to go
Just talked to Craig the owner, good guy, good conversation. Paul actually retired. These guys actually had a 68 core and are rebuilding it for me. Order placed, see it in a few weeks.

the 5 speed is a 3 grand prospect, and for how I drive it, it would be nice, but not mandatory. The first Muncie lasted 48 years before it gave out. I'll keep what I got for the $1400 investment for another 40 years

Thanks Guys, good work out of you!
Actually I don't know where you got that bit of misinformation from. I've never retired and probably never will!
Me to but I thought the info was probably wrong....I just watched his video of the trip to the PRI show he posted around the 1st week of Jan this year. I was hoping it wasn't something health related that caused a sudden forced retirement.

Nope, it's all good. Thanks for watching my channel. Sometimes parts can be a challenge to get. So when AGE discontinued the iron plate, I may have not been building transmissions until I finished getting the steel billet plates done. The current cheapo Iron plates made in China that you see in some people's builds and on Ebay would have been great to use, but they are so far out of spec, I would never consider using them. As a result I may have postponed work for a few weeks. Maybe that is where the confusion came from.

Paul is a great guy to deal with. Don't hesitate. He gave me the sweetest shifting Richmond 5 speed on the planet. The new Muncie stuff is great but watch what you are getting unless dealing with someone like Paul!
