Default 1956 License plates

Hi, I'm new to the Forum. I just bought a 1956 corvette. I want to get 1956 california plates. Of course they need to be mint. I've been searching the internet for hours but can't find any I really like. I also want to get the early letters that would have been issued in 1956. Any suggestions. Thanks, John

What's a 56 Duntov? You may want to post in C1.

If you live in CA you can get vintage black and yellow plates from the DMV. Yours would probably have been yellow and black here. Search on eBay, there are choices and there are also services to recondition what you find.

Another good place to look is Hemmings.
