76cc to 64cc heads?

so if you go from the 76 cc heads to the 64cc you gain compression ratio .would you also have to run a higher octane fuel?

most on here have said up to 10.5:1 you can use 93 octane. You can run less and see if it pings. I run 93 regardless. Never had it ping

How much does that top end "Kit" cost? Chances are for the price of it, you could get MUCH better heads and cam than it provides and have significantly more horsepower. Plenty of guys here on the forum who are knowledgeable on the subject and could advise you as to what parts to go with.


Or if you're looking to save money: Vortec heads, tried and true, and will probably make just as much horsepower as those edelbrock heads for less money.
