General C3 Body Shape Question
I am sanding my '75 Vette for a paint job and am wondering about a curve.
The curve I am speaking of is the ~6" horizontal strip that runs about 2.5-3' between the rear buttress and the rear quarter panel on each side. Should this 6" strip be flat? Or should it have a slight concave shape to it?
I looked at multiple pictures and some look like it's a nice flat surface that makes a curve into the buttress and a sharp edge down.
What is the opinion on this?

I just found this picture on a Fellow C3's website. The body looks incredible and it looks like it's flat, too.
Other opinions?
I ask because I am using a 16" board sander and I'm not sure where I should be using it. On places like the lower fender wells on the front and back, can a straight 16" board sander (File Board) be used?

even if it were slightly concave I'd make it flat, just so water sheds a bit easier
