Default Looking for a photo.

Hi everyone.
I am looking at getting a Borgeson power steering conversion kit for my 1978 Corvette. My vet already has power steering so I will be needing the power steering conversion box, hoses and rag joint along with the drag link adapter.

I understand how the installation works except for the drag link adaptor.

They say a picture says a thousand words. Does anyone have a photo of how the drag link adaptor connects up after removing the original power steering ram and the PSCV.

With the wealth of knowledge on this forum does anyone have any comments on this kit.

I used a draglink and pitman from my manuel steer 6t8, the ball socket is part of draglink in my 69 conversion to the Borg setup. If memory is still working, with the whole Borg kit I think you get another draglink, ball socket and a pitman arm.
Vette-hound, you will enjoy the huge difference. Is a 69 with a 434 SBC beefy enough for a comparison? T

the 69 & up manual relay rod/drag link is the better thicker (stronger) one to use, I have an extra manual relay rod & pitman arm if the OP or anyone else reading this is interested

Thanks guys for the responses. This forum delivers the goods again.

Vette-hound. I have read that the 12.7:1 ratio on the Borgenson boxes gives a sportier feel to the steering.

Terry. The kit I am looking at just comes with the parts I mentioned. I use my original draglink and pitman arm.

540 Vette. Thanks for the picture. It explains it all for me. I think my misunderstanding before was in not fully understanding how the power steering ram and PSCV work together. I think I am good to go now.

redvetracr. Thank you very much for the offer but I think postage to Australia could be prohibitive. Is the relay rod for the 78 with power steering the same as your manual relay rod ?

Use your p/s relay rod. And the end piece they supply.

I did the conversion and I love it. No more leaking hoses or leaking valve. I added the ride tech brace.
