1981 Wiring Question - Where do these lead?

they stay on a lot longer than you would think. If you turn the ignition on then the lights should turn off immediately.

and guess what, if you're willing to wait for it........ IT WORKS!!
I'm not feeling like the brightest bulb right now (pun intended) but I guess I never expected it to take that long. 38-40 seconds was the average of the 2-3 times I tested it. You're dead on with the key too. I was waiting about 15 seconds and then turned the key and it went off.

I've got a battery light to troubleshoot and I think that will be the last of a dozen or so wiring issues. Thanks again for everyone's assistance.
