Ok I'm dumb founded with this problem.. maybe I'm not seeing something... I put a new radiator and dual electric fans on my 82'. They came on when I would turn the key to on and also when I start the car. I unplugged it to do some other work on the engine during the winter. Last week I plugged it back in and nothing.. found a loose power wire and re connected it securely. this morning I was gonna turn on the heater blower fan and all of a sudden I had power to the fans and they were working.. 😐 When I turned it to key on and ignition on. So then i turned it off and later was gonna check my trans fluid level and once again nothing... so my next question is there a aux fan relay I don't know about? The sensors are new on the whole engine. All fuses are good. I just plugged the fans into the original harness so that way I wouldn't have to cut too much up... any suggestions?? 🙁

Shot in the dark...great ozzy tune, okay, now your fan issue,
First thing comes to my mind you are overloading the stock aux fan relay, yeah, i have seen relays do that, and the one that came in your car was for a smaller single fan.....didnt it come on with ac and or high Temps

No relay on an '81. Just a temperature switch that grounds out at some very high temperature. I believe it was around 238 F. Maybe even higher. Hence the fan never comes on. It was mounted to the radiator in front of the engine fan.

238 is too high for your normal radiator fans to come on...for me that was even too high for aux, hopefully like on my fiero the ac turns it on too....
