Commander Cody, My dad has 3 Mark VIIIs, a 93,96, and a 98 collectors edition. and a brand new town car. Believe me were BIG fans of that song.

Who did "Hot Rod Lincoln" in the fifties, the heyday of so cal hot rods??
Talking So Cal Rods, move closer to the beach and try Rendezvous Rods, by The Pastel Six. Almost a surfing track, but the first 20 seconds are worth the listen alone!

A friend of mine from long ago had a 45 record with a song on it that Chevy put out to advertize the 396. It was set to the music of Iron Butterfly's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" or something similar. Anybody else remember this???

Not sure who or when the first one was produced but I am guessing pre 70 since RUSH wrote the song in the early 80's and state:
'My uncle preserved for me an old machine for future years (maybe 'use')'
