Re: Question for sharks with those inset headlights (wcsinx)
wcsinx,
One source is Eckler's. Page 228 of Catalog 1202 - $430. I was thinking about those myself. I like the looks of the popups, but, the vacuum system is
Re: Question for sharks with those inset headlights (wcsinx)
There are plenty of used sets around.
I sold a set for a friend last week for $100.
They are fairly easy to come by used.
Knoxville Corvette Expo is the last weekend in October,
There is usually some used custom stuff for sale there.
Good luck.

Re: Question for sharks with those inset headlights (wcsinx)
I've got a brand new set in the box that I got for somebody several years back and the car got totalled before he put em in. I'll take $200. for them and I'll pay UPS. They've never been painted or taken out of the box exept to inspect em.

Incidentally, the local Corvette shop says that the early style like mine can be used on the later style cars by drilling 1 hole in each and a minor trim on a rear corner. He says the later style ones do not retro fit on the early cars without glass work.
wcsinx, you'd probably be amazed what your original parts would bring if you listed them on E Bay.

Damn ... must ... resist
My most recent foray into the world of vacuum lights actually struck oil. I've got them moving up and down (and staying that way) with no problems now. I'm still tempted by the thought of pulling all that stuff out and buying your lights, but the fact that they're working now just makes it that much harder. :)
Ahh well, have at 'em, David. That's an awesome deal that SolidLifters is offering.
