Default Got a fender flare/offset question.

Are these figures correct, 20x11 front with 4.5" backspacing and 20x13 rear with 5.5" backspacing

More or less yes.

Maximum backspacing is maximum backspacing regardless of overall width. You mentioned fender flare. No flipping way are you running wheels that wide with stock fenders...they will stick out in the rear...front...maybe maybe not.

You will need add-on flares in the back...possibly the front if you want them tucked in.

Thanks, definitely gonna install flares. I plan on getting the wheels first then installing the L-88 flares around the wheels

That's the most ideal way to do it. Keep in mind that 18" and larger wheels don't need offset trailing arms. The limiting factor becomes the frame rails.

My personal experience with about 27 inch tires 295 front 335 rear is 4 inch front and 6.5 BS rear with 2 inch rear adapters

Yeah I've been reading a lot about the trailing arms not affecting the bigger wheels. And I'll be ordering the wheels in a few weeks.

Why did you have to use the rear adapter? I'm trying to order the correct offset to avoid using adapter and have the largest outer lip possible under the L88 flares. Tire height will around 26.2 front and 26.8 back.

I have billet aluminum wheels. A wheel manufacturer has liability concerns with making large offset wheels

so I went with what is available. So a13 inch wheel is perfectly centered with 6.5 BS

I've had 2 inch adapterssince the 90s. I'm So don't bring up strength concerns because I use big slicks
