Phew! Prayers answered!
I FINALLY got my rotor off, only to find the e-brake spring grinding away inside the drum of the rotor. Wheel bearings are quiet with no play! When I get stuck (that rotor has never been off), I've started praying instead of swearing and that seems to have better results!
Also, thanks to you all for your posts. It was a previous thread that made me look for the e-brake spring problem! :D

well at least the wheel bearing s are good,i like to swear and throw things myself i feel much better when i brake something too:jester cape coral huh?ive been down there a dozen times ,i love it down there.My aunt lives sw 34th and TISQUIK from the forum lives on sw 29th street.

Yup, there's a bunch of us here. I think there are like 10 members within 5 miles of me.
