I'm installing the borgeson conversion in my '70 vert. The return fitting on my pump points down and toward the center of the car. That orientation makes for awkward hose routing. Are you guys modifying the port. If the tube were bent pointing up it would make the routing perfect. In the one picture I could find, it looked the tube was cut short and was pointing straight back. This would work better. What have you guys done?
I bought a new pump "case" from Summit. It wasn't overly expensive. If memory serves me right, there are 3 different return outlet orientations available. I chose the one that worked the best.
Always nice to share details for future lookers of the thread
I'll post pictures and part numbers when it arrives and I confirm it actually worked. Summit showed a 2-month back order so I ordered it from CPP. The return tube looks like the on in the picture posted by '75.

Weez58,
Did you ever receive that new case?
If so, did it work for you?
Yes the case arrived, no it didn't work. The return tube came out the housing in a location that wouldn't allow enough room to connect the pressure line. I got tired of looking for one that would fit. I cut the return line off the original housing, turned it to point straight up and re-welded it. Hopefully I'll have time later today to try it in the car.
