How to spring door
1975 coupe.
I should have know better, but here I am stuck in a real pickle.
The right window needed adjusting, so I thought I'd take it on.
I removed the inside panel - fine. First thing I noticed was that the lock push rod (that goes from the pivot bracket to the door mechanics) was not connected at the pivot. That should have been a clue.
Anyway to cut to the chase, the door is shut and will not open. I can't unlock it with the key, can't open it with the key or either the inside or outside handle.
I don't know what to push to sping the latch.
It seems that several of the push rode on the latch are fairly bent. Apparently this door has had (and continues) to have issues.
Anyone know how to get that bugger open?
