After 13 hours of grimy, backbreaking work, a guy gave me the entire front cradle (control arms, steering, shocks, etc) and complete rear diff from a c4. A latter c4 with the speed sensors. Unfortunately, my c3 frame is already powder coated and I don't want to re-blast it to get it back to bare frame to weld/cut. Curious what stuff I might use on my 1980 without cutting/welding. I'd hoped to use the plastic spring and would appreciate any other suggestions. Thanks.
From: I tend to be leery of any guy who doesn't own a chainsaw or a handgun.

I understand not wanting to cut up a good looking frame. I bought a spare/used frame and cut that up to install my C4 suspension. Lotta work, but worth the effort to get the suspension under my '69. The C4 suspension looks better, handles better, and is lighter weight.
I prefer the strength/affordability of the stock C3 differential, but I did use the C4 batwing on my stock differential for another 20# reduction.
