you got it, I like 1/2 turn, but 1/4 is fine enough.....some guys go 3/4....
one full turn is borderline too much, supposedly....
BTW, it will sound like a swiss watch while running, bunches of ticking, situation normal..... ticking now, NOT clacking....

It's not the correct setting for GM roller lifter from LT1 of 1993 I.E. You have to get 0 lash and then 1 full turn. This puts the plunger of the lifter at the right place. Actually, it's from 3/4 of a turn to 1-1/4 of a turn.

Flash, when I first got my roller cam/rockers here, I thought they were loose too from the ticking....tightened hell our of them, still ticked....same thing....so I backed off a bit...about 1/4-1/2 turn from clacking....been fine for about 5 years now....many a full power trip....
