TRW Camshaft
I'm looking for information about TRW camshafts (duration etc.). I didn't found anything at http://www.trw.com and http://www.summitracing.com .
Do you know a website where I can find these informations ?
Thanks and best regards,
Saenger

Please post the summit part number and what engine (chevy, sbc,BBC, ford 302 etc) it is for . Then I can look in my TRW book for the cam specs. Yes TRW Speed Pro make cams ... lots of them. TRW makes replacement internal engine parts for virtually everything inside a chevy or ford etc. They also make satellites ... those in geosynchronous orbit above your head!
OR ... If you have a TRW or Speed-Pro camshaft part number ... post it & I will post the specs.
Speed-Pro's Tech phone USA (800-325-8886)
TRW is also known as Federal Mogul and also Speed-Pro and also Sealed Power ... try this link to the group ... there's no catalogs there but it may help http://www.federal-mogul.com/aftermarket/default.asp ... for instance, if you wanted a "TRW" forged piston, you'd find it listed as a Speed-Pro ... same thing if you wanted a performance cam or roller rockers (yes they have those too). TRW (& the group) are undergoing restructuring so divisions will be moved to & fro.

Thank you all for the help. Well, my car has a 82' Corvette Crossfire Engine. The Garage replaced the cam by a new one from TRW. I think they said the type of cam is a "207" or "270"........ I hope that helps....
Thank you very much and best regards,

Ask the garage "what is part number?" of the TRW cam ... maybe they have that in their purchasing records. Also ask "what kind of cam?" ... such as hydraulic flat tappet (the '82 came with this type cam), hydraulic roller (maybe) etc. Those numbers 207 & 270 don't help me find the cam ... but someone else here may be able to help with just those numbers. If that refers to duration, 207 or 270 would indicate a rather small cam ... and I don't see one in my TRW Speed Pro book with either duration. Two typical part numbers are like these: CS1062R and CS1095R ... both are hydraulic flat tappet cams.
