Default strut rod cam bolt nuts

Hi All,
I am putting my strut rods back on. New bushings are installed.
1. Do the bushing caps go only on the top where they go into the bracket or do I need 2 for the bottom of the strut rod where the bushing goes into the shock mount.
2. I mixed up my lower shock nuts and the cam bolt nuts for the strut rods. Which nut is it the taller or shorter one?
Thanks

The taller nut goes on the shock mount, the shorter goes on the strut cam bolt. Don't understand the other question regarding 'bushing caps'.

Replaced my strut bushings with poly years ago, don't remember bushing caps. Probably eliminated with the poly application.

Sorry for the confusion. I mean do the bushing caps go on both ends of the strut rod or only on the differential end?
Thanks for the help.
